One diamond, two people, and a world of danger.
When treasure hunter Aria Raith's peaceful life in the Maldives is shattered by mysterious attackers, she discovers her family's dark connection to the world's most cursed diamond—the Kohinoor. As the diamond vanishes from the Louvre and international tensions explode, Aria must navigate a deadly conspiracy that spans from her father's diplomatic missions to ancient mining secrets in India.
Forced to trust mysterious government agent Jave Lincoln with her life, Aria races across Europe and beyond to uncover the truth about her missing sister Emily and the blood-soaked history that threatens to destroy everything she loves.
ABOUT THE BOOK
Aria Raith thought she'd left the world of international intrigue behind when she chose treasure hunting in the crystal waters of the Maldives over her aristocratic heritage. But when masked attackers storm her island sanctuary and the legendary Kohinoor diamond disappears from the Louvre, her peaceful existence shatters like glass.
Her father, British High Commissioner Garen Raith, harbours deadly secrets about their family's connection to the East India Company and a conspiracy that reaches back centuries. The Department of Economic Intelligence wants answers, and they believe Aria holds the key, not just to finding the missing diamond, but to her sister Emily's disappearance thirteen years ago.
Government agent Jave Lincoln arrives with orders to protect Aria, but his own family's dark history is intertwined with the Kohinoor's bloody past. As they flee from London to Austria to the Tower of London itself, Aria discovers that the diamond everyone's hunting may not be the only treasure hidden in plain sight.
When encrypted messages suggest something sinister, Aria must choose between the safe life she's built and a dangerous quest that could reunite her family, or destroy them all.
From the baroque theaters of Salzburg to the treacherous currents of the Thames, from ancient Indian mines to modern genetic laboratories, The Kohinoor Conspiracy weaves a tale of family loyalty, international espionage, and the price of uncovering the truth.
But some secrets are worth killing for, and the Kohinoor's curse claims victims across centuries. As the International Court of Justice prepares to decide the diamond's fate, Aria realizes that finding the truth about her sister and her family's past may cost her everything—including the man she's learning to love.
Perfect for readers who love the international scope of Dan Brown, the family secrets of Kate Mosse, and the action of Matthew Reilly, The Kohinoor Conspiracy delivers a breathtaking adventure about the treasures we inherit and the prices we pay to keep them.

Where imagination knows no bounds and adventure awaits at every turn.

This book delivers exactly what it promises - high-stakes adventure with a smart, capable heroine. The underwater scenes are particularly well-written, and you can tell the author understands the technical aspects of diving and marine archaeology. The conspiracy elements are complex but not overly convoluted. Aria's personal motivation keeps you invested in the outcome. A few minor pacing issues in the middle, but overall a very entertaining read that sets up what should be a great series.
This book grabbed me from the opening scene and never let go. The blend of history, action, and personal stakes creates the perfect thriller cocktail. Aria's quest to find her sister adds emotional depth that many treasure hunting novels lack. The underwater archaeology elements are fascinating, and the conspiracy reaches just the right level of believable paranoia. If you liked Matthew Reilly or Andy McDermott, you'll love this.
Aria Raith is the treasure hunter we've been waiting for. She's smart, capable, and complex without falling into the typical "strong female character" tropes. The supporting cast, especially Jave Lincoln, are well-developed too. The plot moves at breakneck speed, and the exotic locations are vividly described. Some of the action sequences stretched believability slightly, but in a genre like this, that's forgivable.
I'm always skeptical of new thriller authors, but this completely exceeded my expectations. The mystery surrounding Aria's sister gives real emotional weight to what could have been just another treasure hunt story. The century-old diary was a brilliant plot device, and I loved trying to solve the clues alongside the characters. The DC scenes were particularly well done - you can tell the author knows the city. Highly recommended!
As someone who loves both archaeology and thrillers, this book hit all the right notes. Aria's expertise as an oceanographer feels authentic, and the technical details never bog down the story. The villains are genuinely menacing, and the stakes feel real throughout. My only complaint? I wanted more time in the Maldives! The descriptions made me want to book a diving trip immediately. Solid 4 stars.
